Load Dishwasher: Scrape food from dishes into trash or garbage disposal. Pre-rinse only if it is necessary. Make sure items can be safely washed in a dishwasher. Load items with dirty side facing the center, keeping larger items away from the center of the bottom rack. Properly loading the dishwasher maximizes cleaning performance.

Add detergent: Place one PROXI Pod in main dispenser cup and close immediately. Use one pod per load. Do not unwrap or puncture pod. Do not handle pod with wet hands. Reseal bag and store in a cool, dry place.

  1. Are PROXI Automatic Dish Detergent Pods safe for septic systems and plumbing?
Yes, the pods are safe to use with septic systems and plumbing.
  2. How is there hydrogen peroxide in a solid powder pod and what is the benefit of having hydrogen peroxide used in my dishwasher?
PROXI Automatic Dish Detergent Pods contain sodium percarbonate, which is a solid form of hydrogen peroxide. After the dishwashing cycle is started, the water reacts with the sodium percarbonate to create hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). H2O2 helps to remove dried-on foods and tough stains such as spaghetti sauce and coffee.
  • Even though PROXI does contain a built-in rinse aid, in areas with hard water, there may be occasional spotting. Try adding white vinegar to your rinse aid dispenser to further minimize spotting and filming.
  • When loading your dishwasher, avoid putting any objects that may block the soap dispenser door from opening. If the dispenser cannot open fully, the detergent cannot be released, limiting the cleaning action of the detergent for the entire load.
  • Turn on the faucet to purge the water line of cold water.
